Dear friends of the DHR,
Happy New Year 2020 to all, may this year be the year of progress in terms of respect for human rights and common goods!
If December ended with the organization of a conference in partnership with the ETI Chair of the Sorbonne, January begins with a new signature, which improves the visibility of the DHR.
Relive the conference “From the SDGs to Human Rights” organized with the ETI Chair of the Sorbonne!
On December 18, 2019, Corinne Lepage, President of the DHR’s Friends Association, participated in a conference co-organized with the ETI Chair at the Sorbonne entitled “From the SDGs to Human Rights“.
This event was an opportunity to reflect on the links between the Sustainable Development Goals, elaborated by the United Nations, and the new challenges facing humanity.
Prestigious guests such as Véronique Andrieux, President of WWF France, François Gemmène, a researcher in environmental geopolitics, Bettina Laville, President and founder of Committee 21, and Carlos Moreno, Scientific Director of the ETI Chair at the Sorbonne, gave us the honour of speaking at this conference. The debates were rich on fascinating topics related to sustainable development, the involvement of young people in the fight for environmental preservation and the role of cities and communities in the ecological transition.
France Libertés – Fondation Danielle Mitterrand signed the DHR !
France Libertés – Fondation Danielle Mitterrand signed the Declaration on December 11, 2019! The approach of this foundation, which acts to preserve the common goods of Humanity and to defend human rights, is fully in line with the DHR approach. The DHR’s Friends Association is therefore pleased to count it among its signatories.
