Dear friends of the DHR,
This autumn, the Association of Friends of the Universal Declaration of Humankind Rights continues to make progress. On the agenda, a DHR plaque and new members…
A plaque in homage to the DHR in Rouen!
On 26 September, the Mayor of Rouen and President of the Metropolis Mr Nicolas Mayer-Rossignol and Mrs Marie Atinault, Vice-President of the Rouen-Normandy Metropolis signed the Declaration of Humankind Rights.

The writer Doctor Peya joins the list of signatories of the Declaration
On Monday 14 September, the Declaration was signed by one more signatory, Dr Michel Innocent Peya. Committed to peace and development in Africa, author of numerous books on politics, environment, and development, he has chosen to adhere to the principles, rights and duties enshrined in the Universal Declaration of Humankind Rights.
New members have joined us!
Mr Ed Wilson is now one of our ambassadors! He has over 20 years of experience in international organizations (UNEP, UNESCO, WWF International and IUCN) dealing with environmental and sustainable development issues, mainly in Africa. In recent years, as an independent consultant, he has carried out missions for the UN, donor institutions, private investors, NGOs and government agencies. Developing solutions to the environmental and sustainable development challenges of the modern world requires him to consider the institutional, social, financial and political constraints in a given context.
Mrs Madeleine Gilbert joins the Board of the DHR! Madeleine Gilbert is National Secretary of the Confederation of Managers and Supervisors, and is in charge of the Sustainable Development and Corporate Social Responsibility Sector. She is also an advisor to the Economic, Social and Environmental Council of Auvergne Rhône Alpes.
