Emilie GAILLARD is a lecturer in private law at the University of Caen-Normandie. She is the author of a PhD work entitled ‘Générations futures et droit privé – Vers un droit des générations futures’ (Future Generations and Private Law – Towards a right for future generations) (LGDJ, 2011, 673 p.). Awarded with the Charles Dupin prize in 2010 by the Academy of Moral and Political Sciences. Her research includes the advent of transgenerational human rights and environmental crime. She teaches international and European environmental law in Masters 1 and 2 at Sciences Po Rennes (Caen campus).
